I was born in Madrid, Spain, the daughter of a Spanish father and a Venezuelan mother. At the age of nine, I went to Venezuela where I grew up. I got married (happily for 35 years) and I am the mother of three children.
I graduated as a Lawyer from the Central University of Venezuela and also studied the Specialization (Postgraduate) in Labor Law at that same University. Along with being a law student, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Criminal and Criminological Sciences of the Faculty of Law of the Central University of Venezuela.
I have lived in Mexico for 17 years. In this beloved country, I studied Logotherapy at the Mexican Society for Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, receiving myself as a Specialist in Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, which is why I work as a Logotherapist both privately and in social volunteering.
Simultaneously, I maintain the exercise of the law together with my partners in our Law Firm “Perdomo, Pró Del Conte” based in Caracas, Venezuela.
This year I obtained the Specialization in Educational Coaching at the “Axon Training” Institute based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I am currently studying Neuro Oratory and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in the same Institution.
I have been a University Professor for more than 30 years. Depending on the circumstances, I teach from the various professions I have (Law, Logotherapy and Human Development), in different countries and levels: Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Continuing Education, as well as in various sociocultural sectors.
Currently, I teach various subjects related to Logotherapy and Human Development in the three Continuing Education Diplomas offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy, Universidad Anáhuac México.
In addition, I teach “Legal Aspects of Death (Anticipated Will Law, Etc.) at the Mexican Society of Logotherapy. In that same Institution I have conferred the subjects of Professional Ethics, New Contributions to Logotherapy, Self-esteem and Emotional Intelligence. I have also generated some workshops there, among them, and from the movie “The Joker”: “Are we our Links?”
In Cores (Center for the Evolution of Being) I have taught workshops on Self-esteem in collaboration with other therapists.
I am a Lecturer at the International Congresses and Webinars related to Logotherapy and Professional Ethics taught by the Venezuelan Institute of Logotherapy, based in Valencia, Venezuela.
I give Workshops and Conferences on Logotherapy and Human Development to different groups (private) and at the level of social volunteering in the DIF (Integral Development of Families), an organization that serves as the executing arm of government programs for vulnerable sectors.
I am the author of the book Legal Nature of the Employer’s Contributions to the Worker, a text published by the Central University of Venezuela in 2011.
I wrote and carried out (as a thesis to obtain the title of Specialist in Existential Analysis and Logotherapy) the Code of Ethics for Logotherapists Graduated from Smael in 2017. This Code of Ethics has been officially adopted by the Mexican Society of Existential Analysis and Logotherapy.
