I am Yleana Ketchum, author of the book “Live The Good Life After 50”, and a holistic health coach. I help women navigate the changes that come with maturity smoothly and safely.
Shortly after turning 50, I was forced to emigrate from my country, Venezuela. Faced with a new life as an immigrant in the United States, I discovered at the same time that I had to reinvent myself.
In addition to all the changes I was going through, my hormones began affecting my physical and emotional well-being, making it more difficult for me to adjust. I felt tired, aimless, and with spirits on the floor.
I shared my concern with doctors and women like me, and most assured me that the changes were inevitable, “typical of your age.” I refused to accept this explanation and began a journey to regain my well-being.
And not only did I make it, but I gained something else. I was convinced every woman, at any age, can improve her quality of life. So today, I am dedicated to helping mature women regain their vitality and enthusiasm, develop their potential, and find a new purpose for the second half of their lives.
